Advertising: The Market
A wealth of opportunity
Despite global down turns in 2009, in terms of capital investment and building development, the Middle East region remains one of the most dynamic, expanding and lucrative markets to be found on the face of the globe.
The protection against the risk of fire within the many ever-more complex and iconic building developments is paramount, both for the
safety and care of staff and visitors and the considerable capital value of the development itself.
Municipal and regulatory authorities across the region are insisting on higher standards of fire safety in buildings, both of an active and
passive nature. To meet this demand, manufacturers must continue to develop technology and specialist applications providing effective and acceptable levels of safety and protection within advanced new conceptual buildings.
The Middle East therefore offers outstanding commercial opportunities for companies engaged in designing and supplying fire protection and a wide range of other fire safety solutions and applications.
Alongside this, Developers, Architects, Builders and Fire Engineers need to work closely with manufacturers, suppliers, consultants and
insurers across the region in order to provide the very highest levels of fire safety and protection from the unforgiving ravages and severe after-effects when fire strikes. An important feature in this is that sophisticated technological developments in fire safety measures are fully understood and implemented correctly at the design stage of a project.
Over the past twenty years or so, fire brigades around the world have progressively achieved a better understanding of fire behaviour and the dynamics of fire. As a direct result of this, fire brigades have been able to improve their training tactics to protect firefighting crews during emergency operations. Those companies who supply firefighting and rescue vehicles and the multiplicity of front-line equipment have never before had such a ready market to operate within.
FIRE Middle East magazine is the only publication serving the whole of the region and providing an efficient and comprehensive marketing tool.
