Fire and rescue takes centre stage in Dubai
The fire fighting and rescue sector will be one of the biggest features at the Intersec trade show in Dubai this month.
In addition to the increased space indoors, the UAE International FireFit Championships are also expanding and have enhanced the scope for the 2012 edition. With increased country participation from across the GCC and beyond.
The competition is a gruelling test of strength and determination, a 2-minute race against time that will challenge more than 100 participants from all professional fire fighting & emergency rescue teams in the Middle East, Europe, Asia and America, competing before an excited audience of thousands.
The three-day-long event takes place on a 15,000 square foot arena featuring a four-storey tower, and is articulated around three main sequences during which six tasks follow one another at a frantic pace.
