ATEIS ME introduces the new era of integrated PAVA and Fire Alarm Systems. VELOX Fire Alarm System by ATEIS is the industry first integrated '48 audio channels' voice evacuation, utilising leading DSP technology to support public address and professional audio. The new 4000 Series from ATEIS also integrates an addressable fire telephone system, where addressable handsets or even addressable telephone jacks are connected on the same fire loop.

The VELOX in old Latin means fast or rapid, and this is how the new ATEIS Fire Alarm System responds in emergency conditions. The VELOX 4000 series supports up to 8 loops, 250 devices per loop with in-built isolators and up to 6km of loop length*. The system can support up to 200 nodes on a redundant network and each node can be 2km away, creating a ring of 20km copper secured network.

The VELOX detection range of products is the first that supports 360° smoke entry chamber, dust trap and Variable Time Communication protocol - allowing secure data transmission and communication over a long distances. The system features soft addressing 'auto learn' where there is no need for dip or rotary switches to set the addresses of the devices. The system also supports manual addressing or 'safe addressing', in which the user can define the sequence of addressing to fit the site requirements.

The ATEIS Fire Alarm System can utilise its advanced voice capability to address the vast range of client needs, including high fidelity background and foreground music, fully integrated with the voice evacuation. Thanks to the PSS touch screen, the user can switch the music on and off, route the music to any selected zone(s) as well page for up to 96 zones.

System Sensor Europe has introduced an updated conventional zone interface module, the M210E-CZR, designed for use in addressable fire systems to enable a zone of conventional twowire detectors to be managed by the control panel via a single module address on a loop.
